In December 2025, devastating floods struck Acheh, destroying homes and displacing thousands of families. In response, Acheh Sumatra Indigenous People mobilized support internationally, raising funds from the United States and delivering critical aid directly to affected communities. This included food, clean water, and emergency support for families in urgent need. While progress has been made, many communities continue to recover and still require assistance.
